The Local Business Network exists to support and inform businesses in Crowborough and the surrounding area within North Wealden.
It offers a range of networking events, provides business related information from a variety of business support/training sources, is a useful contact point for enquiries and represents local business interests.
There are currently over 260 local contacts that benefit from membership for which there is no charge; it operates through e-mail.
It's a 'win-win' situation for companies of all sizes and business sectors - all it takes to join is an e-mail to: tonyslack@crowborough.biz.
This site is dedicated to local businesses from all business sectors in and around the Crowborough area within North Wealden.
Work is gradually being undertaken to transform this site into a 'live' site by Tony Slack, the Chairman of the Local Business Network (one of four operational arms of The Crowborough Partnership). There will inevitably be a few teething problems to overcome so apologies for any you come across.
It will take a while to complete the task but the first change was to introduce a calendar of Business Events displayed below. An item also has been logged under Action Plan/ reports that reports on Local Business Network activities during 2007 and sets out some main aims for 2008; 3 or 4 progress reports are made each year and they will be added to that section.
Local Business Issues and Hot Topics is now live' and eventually, links will be made with relevant message boards to enable you to comment.
